Release Date August 14, 2017

A boy from the wrong side of the tracks...

But these days he covers his tattoos with a respectable suit. He’s charismatic, good looking, smart and trustworthy—any girl would be proud to bring him home to her family.

But there’s only one girl he wants.

She’s an angel on earth, his living, breathing fantasy. For years he’s known her, sometimes laughed with her, once shared a pint with her...he would lay down his life for her.

But she doesn’t see him—not really.

A girl endowed with royal relations . . .

She dreams of princes and palaces, but in her quest for happily ever after, harsh truths are learned: castles are drafty, ball gowns are a nuisance, and nobility doesn’t equal noble intentions.

In the end, she sees her true heart’s love may just be the handsome, loyal boy who’s been beside her all along.

Ellie Hammond has relied on Logan St. James to be her bodyguard, savior, and Knight In Shining Armor since she was seventeen years old. She has had a huge crush on him from the beginning. He was appointed to her by the Prince to look out for her since she is Olivia's sister. But  even though he takes his duty seriously, it was always hard for him to keep from also looking at her.

Ellie is a spitfire. who wants to live life to the fullest. She's sassy, smart, funny, and vivacious. Logan is a man of duty and control. He is stoic, dependable, serious, but has a good heart and a sense of humor. He knows he shouldn't look and can't touch. But the man only has so much willpower. After years of hidden longing, resistance, and putting duty first, things finally come to boil.

But what happens when they really admit their feelings? How will the royals take a guard cavorting with the Princess's sister? And what about the press? Can two people in the periphery of royal life in Wessco find their own HEA or will duty, country, or something else get in the way?

This brings back our royal family Nicholas, Olivia, Henry, Sarah, and Queen Lenore as well as Simon, Franny, Marty, and Tommy. Olivia's family had already blend with Olivia's and royal changes occurred to Wessco's legacy. What kind of response will this newest forbidden couple get?

I had a soft spot for Logan--they guy from the wrong side of tracks who made good. He tried so hard to be honorable and do everything right. He tried to ignore his heart and body. But Ellie was not about to let a chance go by to try to convince him to really see her. She was bold, brave, and knew what she wanted. They had been inseparable for years with both not voicing their true feelings. It was a slow burn bound to end in an explosion.

Logan's identity has been so wrapped up in his duty and honor, but his feelings could put that at risk.
His job is challenging and safety is a priority. He would die for or kill for her. But with danger and threats and his own feelings involved, will it come to that?

This is a slow burn, passionate, forbidden love story with humor, suspense, and some drama. The chemistry between Logan and Ellie was evident even when they were fighting it, but when they weren't it was combustible. I loved getting both of their points of view and an epilogue. This story did take us back to the beginning, but it still kept me enthralled the whole time. I adored this coupling. I think Logan is my fave hero. His devotion, heart, and protectiveness just shined through even when he tried to be stoic. And there were a few times when my heart just broke for him. And Ellie was his perfect, perky and loving counterbalance.

I have really enjoyed this royal series and these characters. The dynamics between them are so much fun and I love the whole world building of the Wessco royals. I have not read the short story, Royally Raised yet but now I need to get a dose of the kids to get more of this series. I am not ready to let them go.

Ellie Hammond has secretly crushed on Logan St. James since he became her bodyguard. As a teenager, he was her protector, her guide, her friend. But she was just a job to him, and he didn’t notice her. Now that she is done with school and living in Wessco, the queen has encouraged her to find someone noble, to follow in her sister’s steps.

Logan is a loyal employee and friend of Prince Nicholas. He has always done as the prince asked, and has kept his focus on his duties as a bodyguard to the royal family. Ellie is off limits, and it has never been a problem to keep things professional. But now that Ellie is an adult, he finds it harder to ignore the attraction he knows goes both ways.

This was absolutely a fun, sweet read. Ellie and Logan spend a lot of time building their relationship, to the point where at times I wished we spent more time in the present and less reviewing scenes and events that took place in the background of previous books. I felt like I already had a good understanding of who these two were prior to the book, and I wanted to see them work on things together. But as a whole, this story had me grinning and turning the pages, enjoying the two of them as they grew up and grew together.

Logan spends so much time trying to do the right thing I couldn’t help but love him. He had overcome a lot from his childhood, growing up on the wrong side of the tracks and having family still firmly entrenched in that life. He is at his heart a good person, and his loyalty to Nicholas and the royal family is something he takes pride in, and struggles to maintain as he finds himself torn between his career, everything he has built, and the love he finds growing for the person he is supposed to protect.

Ellie has always been a fun character to read. She has a bit of a wild side, but is driven and determined despite what others sometimes say about her. I loved watching her grow up through this series, and watching her narrate gave even more insight into the girl her sister spent so much time protecting. In fact, Ellie has been protected during several parts of her life, and I loved watching her step up and stand up for herself.

This was a great third novel in the series, and the return to Wessco was welcoming. I loved getting to see Sarah and Henry, and Olivia and Nicholas as they all find balance in their new roles.

Ellie
But then the mood shifts, as if the air becomes thicker, weighted, more . . . sultry.
Because slowly, Logan sinks down to one knee in front of me—looking in my eyes the whole time. In this position, I could touch his shoulders, comb my fingers through his thick, dark hair. He’s the perfect height for me to bend down and kiss his mouth—the perfect height for him to kiss me back . . . in a lot of places.
My breath hitches. And I wonder he feels it too.
There’s a sound of tearing Velcro, and Logan takes something off his ankle—a holster, with a small silver knife, about three inches long.
“Keep this on you all the time,” he says seriously. “Just in case. If you wear a skirt, the strap will fit around your thigh.”
And I almost laugh. Most girls get a ring from a guy on his knees. I get a murder weapon. But still, it makes me feel safe . . . watched over. Like I’m something precious that deserves to be protected.
I take the knife from him, testing the surprisingly solid, heavy weight of it in my hand. I press my index finger to the tip.
Logan grabs my wrist tightly. “Careful. It’s sharp.”
There’s a small, painless nick, a tiny bead of blood, so I put my finger in my mouth, sucking.
And Logan’s watching me again.
Watching my mouth.
His chest seems to rise just a little faster, and his throat ripples when he swallows. He bends his head, curves his strong back, and then I feel his hands on my ankle, securing the strap. His touch is warm and self-assured. It’s the way he always moves—confident and experienced. Logan knows his body and he knows how to use it, in every way possible.
I almost moan. The sound is in the back of my throat, but I keep it trapped. I never knew the ankle was an erogenous zone, but it sure as hell is now. A hot pulse of pleasure streaks from Logan’s fingers on my bare skin, up my thigh, between my legs.
And I throb there, growing swollen and heavy as he keeps his hands on me. Can he tell? Does he know? He’s so aware of everything, always so attuned, I wonder if he can sense my arousal . . . feel it in the air that clings between us.

Our 4.5 star reviews

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn't bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him "space"—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit... and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.
